Calbuzz Again Cited as Tops in CA Political Blogs
Once again, Calbuzz has been named among the top three political news web sites in California by the The Fix, written and produced by Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post.
Other California sites named were The Nooner, by Scott Lay of Around the Capitol, and Fox & Hounds, by Joel Fox.
Again, Rough & Tumble by Jack Kavanagh, the single most important aggregator of California political news — indispensable to anyone who follows California politics — was inexplicably not included.
There are other great political news web sites in California, like SF Gate Politics Blog, primarily driven by our tireless comrades Carla Marinucci and Joe Garofoli, Flash Report by the unrepentant conservative Jon Fleischman, and Calitics by the unreconstructed liberal Brian Leubitz. The Sacramento Bee’s Capitol Alert is another excellent site. For more of the best, see our blog roll.
Thank you to all the Calbuzzers who emailed The Fix on our behalf. Your checks are in the mail.
Congrats! Still waiting on my Calbuzz t-shirt 😉
Congratulations. Well done and deserving.
Congratulations. Well deserved.
Congratulations, and double extra congratulations for doing the Macy’s Santa (New York Macy’s, that is; not the grumpy San Francisco Macy’s that FIRED its memorable and gentle Santa) in your props to other blogs. Class, all the way.
CalBuzz and Rtumble are all that are worth reading to stay informed about The Golden State.
This is one of the signs of the apocalypse, but congrats anyway.
Mad props, yo.
Congratulations, I guess. But given that I don’t hold Chris Cillizza’s opinions about the Beltway in terribly high regard — never mind what he says about California — and that indeed, there are times when I truly wonder if he even knows his a$$ from his elbow, I suppose that this is one of those twice-daily moments when even a broken clock tells the correct time. Enjoy the shout out.
Don’t let it go to your heads! But seriously, you guys are the best!
